About Miranda

Hi, I'm Miranda Black, MAcOM, LAc, owner of Radiant Family Acupuncture in Grants Pass, Oregon.

I have been a licensed acupuncturist for almost twenty years. About half of that time has been located here in beautiful Southern Oregon, where I am originally from. My family's roots run deep; my son is the sixth generation of his family on this lovely land. This patch of the earth is dear to my heart and is one of the most lovely places I have been blessed to spend my days.

Travel is my love language

The other half of my career has taken me all over the globe.

My international experiences have shaped who I am as a practitioner. I have expanded my comfort zone as a conscious choice. I have experienced great healing and have been a student of every patient and practitioner that I have worked with. Thanks to language barriers and differing cultural norms, I have harnessed an ability to communicate with the human body that goes beyond words.

When I am not in the office humbly doing my best to help people feel better, I am busy parenting and homeschooling my son. I also spend time tending my wooded acres. I enjoy all aspects of food preparation as a creative outlet. A few hours a week are dedicated to exercise, as my fitness is very important to me, especially as I age. If there is any time left over by the week's end, I do my best to give my feet something nice to look at.
